After spending a week in CA with Aaron's family we went to AZ to be with mine. It was great seeing all the family. We really had a great time rocking out to Rock Band on the Wii and horse back riding (the kids on a pony) and playing with the cousins and swimming in the lake and at the ranch. On Friday we went to the Grand Canyon and it was just beautiful. We hiked a little but mainly saw the canyon from different view points along the rim (pictures to follow when we are not homeless) After that we went to Aaron's sisters house in UT and went hiking up a beautiful canyon. I sprained my ankle (OUCH) although it didn't really start hurting until that night. We were hiking up the cold stream so that helped. I didn't go to church the next day because I couldn't even walk! Fortunately I could walk the day later.
Now we are at Aaron's grandparents house in UT. We have been furniture shopping all week! We have found a bedroom set for us and the kids, a dining set but the living room is HARD! We have sat on so many couches, but none seems just right. We did go with the front loader washer and dryer. We also got some pots and pans, knife set and dishes. That is so exciting so did you find a house yet ? Moving is so stressful but WE ARE IN OUR OWN HOUSE . YEAH . we miss you guys , and i miss aaron and his faithful home teaching . we havn't had one since you left :( oh well . Hope you guys are all well in UTAH
Yay! The living room is so hard. We've been casually looking for months and just haven't found the right blend of form and function. Especially since I'm adamant about microfiber. I'm shocked there aren't more microfiber couches readily available.
Try JC Penny's. That's where we're going next. They have good looking stuff online, but I'm not sure what they have in the store.
Sounds like you have been busy.. I love visiting family and love to shop. A tip with couch's, find one with a good warranty. We have a set and the sofa busted in the center. We had a 10 year warranty. So it was replaced for free. Sofas are not cheap. I cant wait to see pictures. Have fun.
