out for awhile

I can't get my computer to work so if you don't hear from me that is why. thanks for all the imput on the house...now my new question...

should I go out on my own in June to look for a house or should we just wait until July when we go out?

look on the bright side

At the beginning of the house-hunting process I was trying to tell Aaron that we should look in the 300K range. He was convinced that was could find a great house for under 250. Well that time has come and gone...last night we looked at about 65 homes in the 250-315 range and found 18 that fit all our criteria. I am really excited that we will probably be in a nicer home :) I guess we have to look on the brighter side of things right!

Paramount Sports

I wanted to blog about this before our trip, but just didn't take the time. A few weeks ago we went to a gym and it was fun to see Aaron in action. He did back flips, front flips, a double back tuck - on the trampoline. Man he must have been great in his prime. He hasn't done gymnastics for 13 years, but he still had it in him. David LOVED the foam pit. He just kept jumping in and jumping in. Sarah and Becca loved it too. My favorite thing was the rock wall (I am glad that you don't have a picture of that lovely view)

When Aaron saw this clip he said, "oh brother" I didn't know you were recording me :)

All is fair in love and real estate...

duh..duh...duh...another one bites the dust. OH MAN! Our realtor just called and said that someone made an offer yesterday and they wanted to close in 2 weeks with cash...ouch! I was so positive that was our house! If we would have put in our offer last week...maybe...oh well. I guess that's life. I didn't really LOVE any of the other houses we looked at. Clark and Janet we may have to stay with you :) BLECH we will just have to see where life takes us. I am sure it will all just work out.

one down, one to go

tonight we accepted an offer so we are officially "under contract" yippee! here are a few pictures from our trip. the conference center is really awesome. i hope we will be able to go to conference there one day. i still am a little apprehensive about moving to ut, but it was good to be there. i am sure it will take a little getting used to, but we will have a wonderful time i am sure! can you tell that aaron and i are really enjoying being kid less :) i do have to say is was great having david snuggle up with me in bed this morning (even though it was 6 am...3am California time)

almost there

last week we had a fabulous time in utah. aaron and i looked at a lot of homes and hope to put an offer on this i didn't like all the levels, but it really had a lot of space and a great back yard.

hopefully tonight one of the interested buyers will make an offer. she came by with her daughter when we were gone and called me to set up a time she could come with her realtor.

it is a little difficult to type because i broke my pinkie while riding my bike...really i hope that i do okay in the race...i don;t think there has been a time when i have gone bike riding and nothing bad happened. aaron and i went out for about 2 hours on saturday and we are both burned :)

it was great seeing our families and not having to cook. cel i can see why you love cafe rio...it is great.

hopefully you will see a sold sign on tomorrows post!

if you want to see what the kids were up to check out my totally awesome friends blog really this trip couldnt have been possible if it wasnt for her!

worm boy

We have worms in our sand box. Last year I freaked out got rid of the sand and got new sand and covered all possible holes the little critters could get in...there back...

This year I figured, David loves finding them and putting them in the garden. The other day he found about 10. He would bring it to the back door and yell worm and sometimes pet then put them gently into the garden.

Three in one day...

Does anyone have good suggestions about furniture buying? I think we are going to go with our original plan and just not take anything.

Amazing and talented kids

The other day David wanted to go outside and I told him to put on his coat and shoes and this is what he did. Apparently Becca's was a lot more interesting :)

Aaron showed the kids this trick on Sunday night. They thought he was so cool. I thought it was hilarious.

After Becca did a trick, Sarah wanted to do one too.

Interested buyer

I had a showing yesterday and he said he was going to bring his wife on Saturday, but I didn't quite get a good vibe from him. But today I had a showing and the lady seemed REALLY excited about the house. Her daughter lives at the bottom of the circle so it is perfect. I really hope she makes an offer...she said it was the best that she has seen...so we can always hope. I have 2 more coming on Saturday that I know of. WHEW! I don't think I can keep this up for 2 more months. But hopefully everything will work out.

Yippee

Really I think I will give you the blow by blow account of our house selling/hunting experience.

We have another showing tomorrow!

I e-mailed my realtor with about 30 more houses that I would like to see. Poor guy has me to deal with. Becca and David both took naps today (when does that happen). So I had a little spare time :)

Not so stressed out

After I was just crazy for a few days I kept praying that I would feel peace and not so stressed out and the song came into my mind, "Fear not, I am with thee oh be not dismayed. For I am thy God and will still give thee aid. I will strengthen thee, help thee and cause thee to stand..." It just really brought me great comfort.

Sunday morning I decided to turn on the YW conference (since ours doesn't start until 12:00) and one of the counselors was talking about when she was running the Boston Marathon and she all of a sudden felt alone and exhausted (at mile 20) and that song popped into her head to.

We had a good showing Saturday and someone wanting to see the house on Sunday (but we asked if he could come sometime during the week) We are going to have an open house on Saturday and our fliers are disappearing so hopefully everything will work out.

I did find out that we can add our listing to realtor.com for an additional 400 dollars. If we don't sell by the end of April that is what we will do.

Stressed out!

I don't think I have been this stressed out EVER in my life. I just keep telling myself, "everything is going to work out. You just have to be patient!" Our one and only showing just canceled because he is going with a realtor now. I did e-mail him back and say that we would work with his realtor. Originally I was going to wait until we moved to list with an agent, but I think if we haven't seen much movement we will put it on with a realtor in May. Man they really have a corner in the market. I just hate to spend 9,000 when I don't have to! BLAH! Okay I will take a few breaths and tell myself, it will all work out, it will all work out, it will all work out

NIght of the living dead?

Nope, just me trying a mask I got for my birthday :) Of course Aaron is not here to witness my loveliness.
