What was lost is now found

Last week Becca lost her glasses. We had gone to a swim party and thought that we had left them at a pool (20 minutes away). Aaron and I both went and looked around to try and find the glasses. Last night Aaron was trying to straighten up for his grandma who was coming. Aaron made Becca's bed and found her glasses tucked neatly in the unmade bed. It had been a whole week that she hadn't made her bed! Guess who didn't make her bed this morning. I should be more strict about bed making, but I am not.

Rollie Pollie

Emma has begun to roll over. It now seems like whenever I put her on her back she will roll over to her front. She is really strong and I don't think it will take long before she figures out how to crawl!

Here is a dark grainy video of her (remember, the camera is still on the list...)

Foam Friday

Today we went to a foam party. There were 2 huge fire trucks spraying foam and then a truck that had a huge sprinkler to wash off the foam when you were done. Sarah LOVED it, Becca liked it and David tolerated it. I thought the foam felt funny and Aaron stayed with the baby.

Not muti-taskable

Tonight I found out that barbequing and nursing are not multi-taskable.

Here is Aaron on an ad in University Mall. Nice. Anyone need a good Doctor??

I felt kind of silly taking a picture of an ad in the Mall. HAHA.

"Best" mom of America moment

I forgot to mention my "best" mom of America moment. This morning I was trying to feed the baby and make breakfast when I hear David crying in the girls room and Becca telling him to get out so she could get dressed. I go upstairs - still feeding the baby - and asked what was going on...still not quite sure why David was crying, but he is getting very good at it. I then dragged my 45 pound boy to his room where I shut the door and told him he could come out when he was done crying. Some how I got breakfast ready, my sister on her way to AZ, David to stop crying and the baby fed. Whew. Sometimes I wonder how we really make it. How my kids will make it to adult hood without being scared by my parenting skills.

A few extra

This week has been very fun. My sister came in from AZ to visit my sister Amanda and myself. We spent one day just hanging out, then at BYU and then we went swimming and then hiking. Last night we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was kind of crowded, but the kids had a great time. It was fun being with the girls in the brides room. We were the only ones in there and so I took a little time telling the girls that this was where the Princesses go to get married.

It was a lot of fun to see the cousins playing together. A few of the days though it was a little difficult being "mom" to extra kids. One day both of my sisters went to HP 6 movie and I watched my sisters kids. That wasn't too bad but when the kids came back from the movie and we were trying to get everyone ready for the pool it was just loud and I just lost it with David, who was having a HARD day. When we finally got out and went swimming we had a great time, but I lost my patients and that is never fun!

Today I had my neighbors 4 kids because she was just really sick and I had my other neighbors 2 kids because that is just the nature of the neighborhood. The big kids played life and the little kids played in the basement and we had a great time. Then we made bubble blowers by cutting off the bottom of a water bottle and then rubber banded a wash rag on the end dip it in water and then dish soap and then you have cool bubble snakes. After the craft we came inside and they have been watching Tom and Jerry. They asked for popcorn and I made 5 bags (all I had) They probably would have eaten more. When we went hiking I had Aaron's cousins from New Jersey with us. I thought hum, this is how it would be if I had 6 kids. (they were 13 and 11) They were actually really fun to have on the hike.

Here is a picture of the kids eating ice cream with the cousins.

Trying to catch up

Time flys when you are having fun! Since the last post...

Emma has tried her first bite of rice cereal and baby oatmeal and didn't really like it.
We went miniture golfing and I realized that I am not that great of a golfer.
We celebrated Aaron's 35th birthday.
We had a great 4th of July with friends.
We went to Lake Tahoe and had a very enjoyable time with family.

We have done a lot more, but this is the condensed version.
