A few extra

This week has been very fun. My sister came in from AZ to visit my sister Amanda and myself. We spent one day just hanging out, then at BYU and then we went swimming and then hiking. Last night we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was kind of crowded, but the kids had a great time. It was fun being with the girls in the brides room. We were the only ones in there and so I took a little time telling the girls that this was where the Princesses go to get married.

It was a lot of fun to see the cousins playing together. A few of the days though it was a little difficult being "mom" to extra kids. One day both of my sisters went to HP 6 movie and I watched my sisters kids. That wasn't too bad but when the kids came back from the movie and we were trying to get everyone ready for the pool it was just loud and I just lost it with David, who was having a HARD day. When we finally got out and went swimming we had a great time, but I lost my patients and that is never fun!

Today I had my neighbors 4 kids because she was just really sick and I had my other neighbors 2 kids because that is just the nature of the neighborhood. The big kids played life and the little kids played in the basement and we had a great time. Then we made bubble blowers by cutting off the bottom of a water bottle and then rubber banded a wash rag on the end dip it in water and then dish soap and then you have cool bubble snakes. After the craft we came inside and they have been watching Tom and Jerry. They asked for popcorn and I made 5 bags (all I had) They probably would have eaten more. When we went hiking I had Aaron's cousins from New Jersey with us. I thought hum, this is how it would be if I had 6 kids. (they were 13 and 11) They were actually really fun to have on the hike.

Here is a picture of the kids eating ice cream with the cousins.

This picture reminds me of several we have of our family--gathered in front of Gma and Gpa Hunt's house. Doesn't it remind you of that? Talk about a HERD of cousins!

I have to say that it's pretty funny seeing Caleb and Lauren next to Chelsea and Kendal. I wish so much I could have been there!!
