New house pictures

Here is a sample of the house. We have a few rooms started, but have not even begun to decorate. The second picture was of Sarah on her first day of school. She loves it so far. Becca starts next week. We will go in today for some evaluations. I think it is a good idea to screen all the incoming kindergartners to see where they are.

don't you just love our 90s chandelier? We will have to do something about that :)

Our house is pretty much ready to go, but we will have to replace the windows and put a fence up. No big deal.

We're in!

We finally made it and are BACK ONLINE! Unfortunately we don't have any pictures of our house yet. When I get furniture I will post some.

School starts on Monday...WOW where did the summer go? I will summarize the summer in a slide show. Some highlights of the last week.

Becca came down the stairs and said, "I love this house."

Sarah has had a HORRIBLE rash/allergic reaction to some poisonous something. She had bad itchy sores all over her body.

The girls had a get a Hep A shot today, one not required in PA but is here. Sarah was really brave, but Becca cried. I think Becca remembered what it was like 2 months ago when she got 4 shots. Not fun.

We went to the Thanksgiving Point Farm yesterday and to BYU Bean museum today with my sister Amanda.

Our couches and dining room are coming tomorrow!

We are going to the Aquarium on Friday.

Almost not homeless!!!

After spending a week in CA with Aaron's family we went to AZ to be with mine. It was great seeing all the family. We really had a great time rocking out to Rock Band on the Wii and horse back riding (the kids on a pony) and playing with the cousins and swimming in the lake and at the ranch. On Friday we went to the Grand Canyon and it was just beautiful. We hiked a little but mainly saw the canyon from different view points along the rim (pictures to follow when we are not homeless) After that we went to Aaron's sisters house in UT and went hiking up a beautiful canyon. I sprained my ankle (OUCH) although it didn't really start hurting until that night. We were hiking up the cold stream so that helped. I didn't go to church the next day because I couldn't even walk! Fortunately I could walk the day later.

Now we are at Aaron's grandparents house in UT. We have been furniture shopping all week! We have found a bedroom set for us and the kids, a dining set but the living room is HARD! We have sat on so many couches, but none seems just right. We did go with the front loader washer and dryer. We also got some pots and pans, knife set and dishes. I will send out an e-mail with our address and phone soon. THANK YOU to ALL the people who helped us out this month!

A great perk in UT

Our realtor was telling us about the community center and I thought it sounded great. When I was telling my sister in law where we were moving she said, "you are going to have a great community center" when I got here I checked it out. Here is the Legacy Center. I thought the aquatics center looked great. Now all I need is a great workout buddy. (Lauren, Utah is a really nice place to live:)...although I haven't really lived there...but how can I find a better work out friend!!!

We have been swimming and playing here in CA. We are going to the beach today. Tomorrow we are going to swim and get ready for AZ and then on Friday we are off.

It has really been fun being on vacation. We are going to be homeless for a month, but I have not seemed to mind, although I can't find my camera.

We made it!

After 2,200 miles, 36 hours of driving and endless hours of the Muppet Show, Dora, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry...WE MADE IT! The kids really had a great time.

We looked at TONS of houses yesterday and we think we found a great one. It was really hard to choose because there were so many great houses. We are just waiting for the realtor to call and then we will go and see it one more time and then hopefully make an offer.

I will let you all know if we get it!
