The little cutties

Where does the time go? I was talking to a friend and said that maybe Sarah would get her own room when she was 10 and then I thought UH, she is going to be 10 this year! Man, I almost have a 10 year old...

The matching shirts was her idea as was the snuggling under the blankets.

Give a day...

My sister signed up her family for the give a day, get a day at Disney and I was talking to Aaron about it and he was like uh, that is just a gimmick! You should volunteer for the opportunity of volunteering not to get something. A few nights ago David woke up and I couldn't go back to sleep. I just kept thinking about going to Disneyland. The next day I talked AGAIN to Aaron and he said he didn't want to be the stick in the mud and we could go if I wanted. AHHH. I promptly signed up to collect beanie babies or small stuffed animals to give to a charity that is going to distribute them to Indian children on the reservation. Disneyland, here we come (in October!)

Actual color

The actual color is a mahogany stain. I didn't want to show this picture because you see how streaky my work is.

Emma's birthday is next week and I was talking with David saying that I hadn't bought her a present yet. He said that she would LOVE a hot wheel's set (he got one track for his birthday and bought two more sets with his birthday money). Then he her asked if she would share with him :)
Jacqui, oh the color is GOING! And you were the cousin who inspired me!

Bathroom remodel phase one

My cousin really motivated me to get off my buns and do something for my home. We have been here for about a year and a half and there have been things that I have wanted to do but just haven't done. Last week was the week...I have begun!

Bathroom remodel phase one...

I found some great towels and bath mats at Kohl's now this week I am painting and trying to find some thing to go on the windows. I love the light and the blinds give us privacy so I think I will go with a brown sheer swag. The walls are going to be swiss coffee (what we had in the garage from the last lady...basically white)

AHH, the power of cabbage leaves

So I figured it was time to start weaning Emma to twice a day and give her a bottle in the middle of the day but she was having none of it. She did not want the bottle if she could just nurse. I was pretty much ready to be done nursing (she will be a year in a few weeks) and one night she bit me and I thought okay that is it no more nursing. I thought it would be like the other kids and be no problem at all. I have been in such pain and my chest is so tender. One of my friends told me about cabbage leaves. They work like cold compressions. Nice. Hopefully this will all be over soon!

About the last post. I asked Aaron if he wanted to see The Lion King and he said he had no desire. That is my answer. Maybe I can talk my sister into coming with me. I am much more willing to pay $50 :)

HUMMMMMMMM

Aaron and I have never been to a broadway play. We were just too poor to justify the cost. The Lion King in coming to SLC and my parents really liked it, but is it worth $100 (for the least expensive seats)??

A little mobility goes a long way!

Her first green spaghetti.

Daddy doing tricks.

One morning I was upstairs doing Becca's hair and I heard Sarah say, "Mom, David shut Emma in the pantry." Yep there she was. Nice little fit if I say so myself.

Now that Emma has figured out that she can move to get places I have found her in odd places. I don't know what I am going to do when she actually crawls!
