Oh David
David is all boy. Last night he came down and had his hair sticking up and said that he wanted to look like a triceratops. He loves playing downstairs with me. If he had his way we would play steamroller (where you roll on the ground and try to steamroll the other person) alligator (a chase game where you run back and forth trying not to get eaten by the alligator) and freeze tag (which is quite hard with just two people but he loves it. Yesterday while we were driving in the car David was telling stories and this was his, "Once upon a time there was Heavenly Father and a lot of kids. They all wanted candy but He said give it all to David and he ate it all up and was very happy. The end."
Emma is now into EVERYTHING. Today she has eaten a marker and some play doh and other unidentifiable objects.
Sorry about the format. I couldn't get the text to go where I wanted it to go. In the picture with Sarah and the bird he kept climbing in her hair. I couldn't stand it!
I liked the picture of Emma playing the piano, but I liked that picture because it showed the music Sarah was writing.
When I was doing the laundry I needed to carry Emma down the stairs so I just put her in the basket. David asked if he could do it too. HAHA! I informed him that he weighed twice as much as she did!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!
Yesterday it snowed about 6 inches. The kids had a great time. David came to the door and rang the doorbell. I looked out of the window and there was David with a huge snowball smiling. Today we went to some ice castles. They were melting so we couldn't walk through them but they were there and beautiful!
Yesterday I went out to lunch with some friends and Emma tried a chocolate chip cookie and DIDN'T like it. Today she had some ice cream and liked it until she found the chocolate ribbon. Today her cousins came over and we had cake.

Give a day...
My sister signed up her family for the give a day, get a day at Disney and I was talking to Aaron about it and he was like uh, that is just a gimmick! You should volunteer for the opportunity of volunteering not to get something. A few nights ago David woke up and I couldn't go back to sleep. I just kept thinking about going to Disneyland. The next day I talked AGAIN to Aaron and he said he didn't want to be the stick in the mud and we could go if I wanted. AHHH. I promptly signed up to collect beanie babies or small stuffed animals to give to a charity that is going to distribute them to Indian children on the reservation. Disneyland, here we come (in October!)

Actual color
The actual color is a mahogany stain. I didn't want to show this picture because you see how streaky my work is.
Emma's birthday is next week and I was talking with David saying that I hadn't bought her a present yet. He said that she would LOVE a hot wheel's set (he got one track for his birthday and bought two more sets with his birthday money). Then he her asked if she would share with him :)
Jacqui, oh the color is GOING! And you were the cousin who inspired me!
