We have been taking pictures of our stuff that we want to get rid of and the other night there was a really pretty sunset and Aaron went out to take a picture. Becca asked, "Are you going to sell the sunset?" We thought it was pretty funny.
Well only a few more days to go. I was talking to a friend today and just broke down crying. It is going to be hard leaving all these amazing friends! I still have LOTS to do, but it will all come together.
I probably will not write again until we are in UTAH! Thanks to all those friends I am crying over. I LOVE and will MISS you so much!

More tears
Yesterday I was packing up and largely ignoring the kids...well Becca said she wanted to cut the grass so I gave her some old haircut scissors. I didn't think anything of it because usually Becca is really responsible, anyway I look out the back yard and see Becca pulling a chunk of her hair and notice that all but the back was gone. I walked outside and just whispered Becca. She immediately burst into tears. She didn't want to look in the mirror because she didn't want to see what she had done. I will have to post pictures later, but it did actually turn into a cute little shoulder length hair cut. I should take her to a haircut place, but I think I will wait until it grows a little more.
Here are some random pictures. I have not been too consistent with David's naps, therefore when he is tired he sleeps. Apparently he needed a snack before falling asleep. Sarah and Becca filled up water balloons and stuffed them down her suit and then there is Super dad...a great father's day present from Becca. The best picture from the girls messing around with the camera.

boo hoo
Only two more weeks here! Aaron had his graduation dinner on Saturday night and his speech made me cry. Then I talked in church and cried all over again! I love it here and it will be sad to say goodbye to all my friends. I guess this is just part of moving on! It is weird how this is what I have been looking forward to for the last 8 years, but now that it is here I am a little (okay REALLY) sad to actually leave the East. Fortunately most of my friends know someone in UT and might actually come and see us too.
Thanks to my awesome fashion consultant I looked great...the dress from Costco (which is the same dress she got for her husbands dinner), and I borrowed her jewelry and shoes! The best food of the night...peanut butter and chocolate pie...YUM YUM!

Salvation Army vs. the GAP
Today I had the rare opportunity to go shopping by myself (thanks Lauren!) I have had a store credit to the gap forever and have gone 3 different times and just have not found anything I liked. Well today I was determined to get it over with. Well, as I was shopping by myself and it is Wednesday (half price at Salvation Army) I decided to go there too. I found some really cute gaucho pants, darling high heal sandals a skirt that I knew Sarah would wear and pj shorts for Sarah that she needed (why I was there in the first place). Grand total: $5.25
Then I went to the GAP. After trying on various pants I went with a cute pair of floods - you can't really call them carpi's because they are almost to my ankles - two tee shirts and a pair of pants for Aaron (which were supposed to be his size but drowned him...DARN I have to go back to that blasted store!) Grand total: $70.97.
Even though I had store credit for $69 worth I liked the things I got at Salvation Army much better. Am I twisted or what!

Seriously can't that tooth fairy get it together!
Dear Tooth Fairy,
You are fired AGAIN! Why are you consistently one day late in seeing that my child is paid for her tooth? She has been wiggling it for months now and the last few weeks it was only hanging on by a mere thread. How did you not see this one coming? Please send a replacement tooth fairy next time or be here on the night she loses her tooth!

Yum Yum!
Yesterday we went strawberry picking (sorry no pictures...my batteries were dead). I have ODed on strawberries. Last night we made homemade strawberry icecream...YUM...then tonight we had strawberry shortcake...yum...and there are plenty of frozen berries to last awhile. I love just pulling a few out and munching on them.
Handy trick...when you are freezing fruit - cut it up and put it on a cookie sheet and freeze for a few hours THEN put it in a freezer bag, that way the fruit doesn't clump together.
Exercise of the day - jump like a frog. Try going from one end of your house and back or go out to the back yard and challenge the kids. It is great for the backs of your legs and your bum. I was going to an exercise class and the lady told me to do this. I thought oh this will be easy, by the time I made it back to the other side of the gym I was exhausted.
Dinner idea of the day - nice size roast, tomatillo sauce and 1/2 cup vinegar (my brother used half apple cider and half white) I haven't made it myself...but am making it on Sunday. I had it at my brothers and it was the best thing I have EVER tasted. He also put a few sprinkles of crushed red peppers and a few drops of pepper sauce. I will let you know on Sunday how mine turns out.

YIPPEE
We sold our first house! Yesterday we went and signed a few papers and got a nice check (we have never had this much money in the bank...too bad it will be gone in a few months). Her realtor said we should take that check and go to the race trace, we went to Rita's (we got custard/ice) to celebrate instead.
Today I was going through boxes trying to weed things out and realized that a lot of it Aaron is going to have to go through. I thought it was because I was less sentimental, but I am sure my mom has a lot of things at her house waiting for me to discover. I was hoping to just be able to fit it in our cars, but I do think we will get a small trailer.
To plug or not to plug? Aaron and I have both been really leery of plugging in our kids...tv/video games... thinking that they were going to miss out on the whole experience of the country blah blah blah. Well...I think I have talked him into getting a portable DVD player...does anyone know a good brand (i heard the dual ones are great) or the best place to get it? do they come with the car kit, or do you buy that seperate?
