When Aaron went into ophthalmology I though GREAT this is going to be cake. Really who hurts their eyes? Apparently a lot of people. (now those in ortho, plastics or gen surgery just ignore me right now I know your lives are much harder!) Tonight Aaron went in because a three year old cut his eye lid with a spoon...can't wait to hear the details on that. My top 10 funny ones to remember
1. golf ball shot from car wash pressure hose
2. eye lids super glued shut (I hope the kid got new friends)
3. any type of flying metal or wood
4. b b gun (don't shoot your eye out)
5. fish hook
6. bungee cord
7. sticks
8. house hold cleaner (the poor 2 year old actually had to be admitted two nights ago!)
9. paint ball
10. potato gun
Really, I didn't think there were this many silly people out there.

I understand the super glue, because that just sounds dumb and crazy - living on the edge. It is the golf ball being shot from a car wash pressure hose sounds ingenious.. Serious, just don't aim at the eye ID*#T!!! I wish I had a hose to try it with..
When Bry was 3 and in the hospital there was a boy who was losing his eye because his brother had thrown an over ripe peach at him. That made me paranoid for the rest of my child rearing years. the mom
PS how nice to have people as nice as Aaron who are willing to help all of us with such matters!
