Sorry that it has taken FOR EVER to get on here and post some pictures of my beautiful baby! My section went PERFECT! I was really apprehensive since the last two deliveries didn't go so smoothly, but this was great. When Emma came out she sounded like a little wild cat. I teared up when they showed her to me then they wisked her away to clean her up. While they were sewing me up they gave me dermamorph in my IV and it made me throw up all day long, but finally I was able to eat and drink with out throwing up. The doctor said a few interesting things, "how many more times are you planning this thing?" and "your fibroid is so big that it stretched your uterus pretty thin" and "your placenta is really small" what do you say to that, you don't because you have an oxygen mask on :) I loved that they stitched me up and not stapled me. It looks much cuter.
I was surprised how much better my body feels this time! With Sarah I had serious pain. The pain decreased with every baby. It helped that I stayed in the hospital the whole 4 days! The nurses were great and the food was good, what more can I ask!!!
I am just sore now. Mostly in my upper back (due to some serious growth in my chest!) and down by the incision. The kids have been great. I am also blessed to have my parents here to help with the other kids and with me and the baby.

oh jules she is beautiful. looks like the other girls . Congrats . That gives me some hope that the pain goes away with more children . sections always make me nervous it is that big needle they put in your back that is why im all up for knocking me out .
What a beautiful baby--and indeed another blessing for your family! I loved catching up on your blog a bit--it's making me emotional just to hear all of your ups and downs and observations about being 'prego.' Yea! What a beautiful baby. She looks like both of you. Love the bow. I am so glad this c-section went well and better, since I am planning the same thing and need some good news! Glad your parents are there to help! Congratulations!
oh my gosh! she is beautiful. And I'm not just saying that because its whats expected- she really is a beautiful baby. I'm glad everything went well-I didn't get the message-so how big was she? Oh and Becca is totally stylin in those glasses-hot pink is so very her. Congratulations!

Congratulations! I'm so glad she's hear safe and sound and that you are doing well. She is so precious. Makes me all the more anxious for our soon to be little arrival. Glad you have lots of help around. =)

Aaron and Julie she is beautiful! Congrats and good work! That is so exciting to hear about your addition. I'll bet your older three are just beside themselves with excitement. Our little girl will only be a couple months behind Emma. How exciting!

Emma is gorgeous and I am so glad it went well for you. I love that you think the hospital food was good, but then again food always tastes better when we don't have to be the ones to cook!

Oh MY GOSH!!!! she is adorable!!!...you just have one week to rest...i can't wait to hold her!! Kayla says: the baby is so so so so so so cuuuuuute!!!, and I like Becca's glasses they are so stylish!!!. Mimi says she looks pretty and the glasses are cute!...We can't wait to visit you guys!!!

Oh, she's so adorable! Congrats! I think she looks like a Smalley. And Aaron doesn't look nearly as tired as Dave always looks after I have a baby. I'm so glad everything went well and we miss and love you guys!
