hahaha! David LOVES the plant...how did you know? He loves driving the tractors (from his b-day cake) through the mulch at the bottom of the plant. I really hope they make it the next few months!
Where would I get the lamp shades, my friend mentioned them too but really I am clueless.
Well we bought a littler palm then that last winter because I wanted some green(and it was on sale at Lowe's for 5 bucks)Its about ready to hit the garbage can. But it lasted a good nine months!

I'm so not a fan of live plants for my house. I am not a good plant caretaker. But they do liven up a space.
That chandelier would really look good painted black. Add some cheap little lamp shades, and it'd look plain Pottery Barn-ish.

For the shades, I'd try Ross, TJ Maxx, Tuesday Morning, Marshalls. If not there, try Home Depot or Lowes.
Ethan would be all over that plant. He can't stay out of my fake tree!! :)
