Where have I been!
This week I have been remodeling my bedroom...it looks GREAT! I will post pictures as soon as I get a comforter. I got one yesterday at Target but Aaron is not quite sold on it. I am going to look today to see if I like any better. I painted my dresser, nightstand and bookcase black (thanks Lauren for the paint!) and changed the hardware. Really why didn't I do this 10 years ago! I guess I didn't really think about it and it worked and I always thought deep down that I would get a beautiful bedroom set. Needless to say this will just have to be my beautiful bedroom set for awhile.

the black furniture looks GREAT! I love it with the tan walls. I like the comforter, but I might go with something that adds more contrast to the room if you are up for more shopping. Something with some dark, dark, brown mixed with tan and maybe some blue? blue/tan/brown are really in colors right now and it would tie the walls and furniture in and add some color and brightness to the room. i might call you for tips on painting the furniture. we are in the same boat--not wanting to buy anything right now since we are hoping to get a nice set sometime. anyway, good job on all of the painting and decorating.
