So I have never been one for surprises. When I read my sister's blog I just found out that the easiest person for her to buy for is herself. I just bought my Christmas/birthday/anniversary present...a membership at LA fitness. I didn't think I would be able to join because I didn't want to pay an enrolment fee or sign a contract...lucky me my guy said I could do it. It was a little more than other gyms, but I really think it is worth it.
Here is my confession (I think my sister outed us on her blog last year, but here goes) One year when we were kids we wanted to find out what we were getting for Christmas. I don't know whose idea it was but we were in it together. She and I took turns being the look out and looking under the bed (my parents bed was on a box). I only remember finding a few things like nail polish. I felt so sneaky, but it felt good to know what we were getting. HAHA I guess I was never really good with surprises :)

So one of the few things we've spent money on (other than the required bills), was membership at the YMCA. We have absolutely loved it.
oh yeah, i think we all did that. once somebody figured out that the presents were under the bed we must have spread the word along to each other. Suzie and I used to do that too. or was it ME that you were referring to? all this time i was picturing celia on the lookout. one time we couldn't get the bed back on the box frame right, so mom and dad must have figured out that someone was peeking.
I was with Juls when we discovered the nail polish.
I was the worst though. I even unwrapped and re-wrapped a present that was already under the tree when I was in 7th grade. Then on Christmas I acted all surprised and excited. "Oh! A MICKEY MOUSE WATCH?!?! AWESOME!"
Grats on the membership. That's awesome.
OH I remember that time too. I guess I must have been on it more than once. sorry mom.
I am really excited to start working out!
