We had our first yard sale today and made about $40. We really just had stuff and I was surprised that we made that much. We are going to spend the money on games and treats at Hershey Park today and then we are going to
Chucky Cheese the next time Aaron has off (when he gets back from Utah). That way the girls weren't too heart broken to get rid of their things.

Utah? Is Aaron interviewing in Utah? Hooray for $40 from junk. I can't bring myself to sit all day waiting for folks to drive up and give me a few dollars for my junk though. I just take it to Shepherd's Kitchen! the mom
i, for one, think yard sales are totally worth it. I always get rid of more stuff if I think I might be able to get some money for it. when we moved from provo, we got rid of so much stuff (YEAH!) and made $600 in about 4 hours. People bought old computers that didn't work, junky dressers, worn out clothes. we were amazed.
I am hoping to get that at our next yard sale (when we get rid of almost everything). It wasn't too bad, but we only stayed out there until noon and then I was done and took the rest to salvation army.
didn't I tell you Aaron will be going conference weekend to meet with someone in Lehi.
Right now I'm feeling like just about everything in our house is junk and I keep getting junk from other people for the baby...I mean, when I'm at their house I think, "Sure, that could come in handy." But then when I get home I look at it again and think, "Hmmm..now this is a bit tacky and looks second hand. Not quite what I was going for."
I then get frustrated with the junk and Matt then gets a little frustrated with me since I was the one who acquired all of the stuff in the first place.
